Forest Friday
Ages 6-12
Ages 6-12
Come explore with us every Friday throughout the school year as we adventure through a variety of beautiful outdoor locations across Cache Valley. Students engage in hands-on learning experiences that include shelter building, wilderness and survival skills, plant and animal identification, navigation and orienteering, animal tracking, fire building and so much more. Each week offers a new opportunity for discovery, challenges, and connection in nature.
Forest Friday is designed using Coyote Mentoring principles alongside a child-led inquiry based approach to learning. Students are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and resilience while learning through observation, exploration, and real-world experiences. This program naturally fosters teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and a deep connection to the natural world.
This program takes place 100% outdoors, rain or shine. We meet most Fridays throughout the schoolyear from 9:30 AMÂ to 12:30 PM and serve students ages 6 to 12. During each session, students are divide into two age-based classes for more focused instruction and support. Parents are welcome to volunteer and be apart of the experience as we learn and grow together in nature.
Yearly Tuition is $975 with a non-refundable registration fee of $100.
